Give the traditional Thanksgiving cornucopia a sculptural, lasting twist.
In this hands-on workshop, floristry instructor Jon-Logan Jones of @floristryseekingroots will guide you through creating an abundant centerpiece with dried and preserved botanicals sourced from Hannah Ricciardi of Lavare Farm, flower farmer in Goode, Virginia.
Gather at Palmera House to learn the fundamentals of dry-arrangement mechanics, structural balance, and styling. You’ll leave with a finished cornucopia designed to grace your Thanksgiving table and remain a beautiful tabletop feature through winter and for seasons to come. Since the materials are dried and preserved, your arrangement needs no water and won’t wilt.
Your ticket includes:
A woven cornucopia vessel
A dry mechanics base
Dried and preserved botanicals
A step-by-step styling guidance
